The OCC simply couldn’t stay open without the time, effort and enthusiasm of the families of the children we help every day, and our dedicated team of osteopaths. If we have touched your life through our work, could you help us help more people?
Our charity receives no government funding and is not part of the NHS – we rely on donations to help us provide osteopathic care to every child that comes through our door, regardless of their parents’ ability to pay.
- An assessment and treatment for a new patient costs us £80
- A follow up treatment costs us £40
- To fully train an osteopath in paediatrics cost us £4305 per year
- To keep the OCC open costs us £3850 per calendar day
20 years ago, Princess Diana visited the Osteopathic Centre for Children. Her kindness and the subsequent donation from the Memorial Fund had a life-changing impact on our charity, enabling us to deliver specialist paediatric osteopathy care to babies, children and post/pre-natal mums on a donate-what-you-can basis.
In commemoration of her kindness, we’re reaching out to friends, family, supporters and colleagues with our Sweet Pea Vine of Kindness Campaign.

Make a donation
Regular donations are the best way to help us plan for the future. Your monthly donation will make a difference no matter how small it may seem. Please download a Direct Debit Form or register on our Just Giving Page.
Please also consider remembering us in your will – get in touch at email@example.com or click here for information on leaving a legacy
Raise money by shopping online
That’s right – use your regular online shop to raise money for charity.
Register for Give as You Live, pick OCC as your charity, and use the system as your shopping search engine. Click through and buy, the commission from the retailer is donated to us, and it doesn’t cost you a penny. Happy days.
Work alongside us (virtual volunteering for osteopaths)
Could you and your colleagues work alongside us to make treatments available to more families? We’re asking our osteopathic colleagues to support our work by donating a treatment, a half-day or a full-day clinic fee. It’s volunteering, but from the comfort of your own clinic.
Please get in touch if you aren’t an osteopath but want to discuss virtual volunteering in your own workplace – firstname.lastname@example.org
Help us raise funds
No matter what your time and means are, your support will make a difference. The possibilities are limitless – in the past, our supporters have organised bucket collections, opened their garden to the public, hosted a themed dinner, jumped out of planes, run/biked/swum great distances… What’s on your bucket list?
If you have an idea or event in mind that could help us raise money to keep treating our young patients, please get in touch with the fundraising team on 0208 875 5291 or email email@example.com.
Help us spread the word
We are looking for people and groups who can champion what we do by raising awareness of paediatric osteopathy within different communities. It doesn’t have to be a huge commitment – could you:
- let others know about your experiences and recommend us to any organisations or parents whose children may benefit from our services?
- put some of our leaflets in your local cafes, leisure facilities, waiting rooms, community notice boards…?
- help arrange talks for our osteopaths within your local community?
- Help us organize some community events – tea parties, play groups, sing-alongs…?
Please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org – we are particularly keen to talk to people who can help us reach families of children with special needs, teenagers, and families from BAME backgrounds
We are always looking for community-minded businesses to talk to about how working together might benefit us both. Please click here to find out more about our partnerships
